The English Chalkstreams are situated in some of the most beautiful locations in the British Isles. The rivers are usually crystal clear, rarely colouring, and it is the clarity that brings anglers from all over the world to experience the wonder of hunting the stunning wild brown trout. To fish a dry fly on a Chalkstream to a rising trout is the epitome of fly fishing.

The Chalkstreams
The Test
The historical home of dry fishing with gin clear water and beautiful estates.
Fly fishing enthusiasts are inevitably drawn to this extraordinary river, following in the footsteps of
the fishing greats, Frederick Halford and GEM Skues.
To fish the River Test allows you to step back in time away from the fast paced world that we live in and offer a glorious escape to a different era with an unbelievable sense of history.
The Itchen
The sister river to the glorious river Test sashaying its way down to the coast
with equally beautiful fishing.
Much of the fishing is wild trout where good presentation and stalking is required.

The Anton
The stunning River Anton, tributary of its more famous brother, the river Test.
2020 was our first season of selling day rods on the river Anton and it has become a firm favourite with most rebooking days for later in the year.

Personally, I absolutely love it. You can target the many stocked fish or you can sneak about stalking wild browns and grayling on the dry all day long. It is in a much more rural setting with sheep in the meadows, terrific insect hatches throughout the year and just great for sneaking about hunting feeding fish.
The Kennet
Eastridge Estate sits just above Hungerford on the Wiltshire/Berkshire border.
It meanders through rural countryside and has a fabulous variety of fishing.
From slow deep pools holding deep chested browns to fast riffles over beautiful gravel sections and swaying tresses of ranunculus hiding spotty little wild browns.
