Fly fishing is our way of life, our obsession and our purpose here at Fly Odyssey is to make sure you enjoy every aspect of it as much as we do.

Fly fishing is about so much more than just hooking a fish. When I started out lake fishing my only thought was to land as many fish as I could. Don’t get me wrong, they were great days and so much fun, and I really thought that I knew how to catch fish. However, everything changed when I was taken by my father-in-law to fish on the river Nadder in Wiltshire. It was such a different experience with a moving surface, spooky fish and all manner of obstacles.

My passion now is river fishing, practising catch and release on wild trout in wild overgrown places but I still thoroughly enjoy a day on one of the premium Test beats after stocked fish, all washed down with a glass of champagne at lunch time. It really doesn’t matter what you prefer, as long as you are enjoying where you are fishing.
